TOPIC 2 : GOAL SETTING

 Goal is very crucial for all of us especially if you are a student.This is because goal will push us to make sure we achieve our dream.Without a goal,it will be hard for you to be motivated.If you want to set a goal,there are a few methods to make sure your goal is achievable and realistic.It is very important for you to set a realistic goal because if you set your goal too high,the possibility for you to achieve that goal is little bit hard.First and foremost,I will teach how to set a goal.All you need to do are:

  • You need to decide carefully your decision or something that you want to do.
  • Write all your goals in a piece of paper.
  • Tell your family or your friends about your goal because your family and friends will encourage you to work towards your goal.

Academic and Personal Goals

Some of people cannot differentiate between academic and personal goals.The truth is academic and personal goals are two different things.All people should have both academic and personal goals because academic and personal goals are essential for all of us.First thing first,you have to know what is the meaning of academic goals.Academic goals are a aspirations that apply to the advancement of your education.The example of academic goals are score high marks in your exam,attend every classes early and submit your work or assignment before the due date.Next,the meaning of personal goals are the goals that you want to achieve to create a better individual.For example,try to earn much money to buy your first house,go for a walk everyday to make sure you'll be a healthy person and become an expert leader in your field.

My Goal Statement

My goal is: 

1. Achieve Dean's List in every semester.
2. Being a good athlete that can perform well.
3. Achieve Vice Chancellor Award.
4. Can cooperate well on group's assignment.

My obstacle/challenge :

1. Not a fast learner.
2. Not good at dividing time.
3. Always do task on last minute.

My initiative on how to achieve my goals :

1. Study at least 30 minutes a day.
2. Training at least 5 days a week to be a good athlete.
3. Do any task early.
4. Increase my communication skills

Motivational Verse :

"Don't dream for it,train for it." - Sir Mo Farah.It means if we have a dream,we need to start train to achieve that dream not just dream for it but doesn't do anything.
